That New Year’s resolution already fall apart?

Here we are... The second Friday in January is apparently “Quitter’s Day” -- the day when most people give up on their New Year’s resolutions! 

Maybe your goal was a little too lofty? Perhaps make that goal to lose 30 pounds before the holidays, instead of by summer vacation.

Maybe focus on doing something healthy for yourself each day instead of being so focused on the end result.

Sometimes you need to go back and re-evaluate how to better “chip away” at that goal in a more reasonable way. Rome wasn’t built in a day after all!

Forbes has an interesting article on reassessing those goals. Sometimes, it actually MAKES SENSE to give up on a resolution if your motivation wasn’t quite right or it leads to burnout!
