Electric Scooters (New for 2024) Sales price of $500 or less: Vehicles with two or fewer wheels, with or without a seat or saddle for the rider, which are equipped to be propelled by an electric motor and which weigh less than 75 pounds, are less than 2 feet wide, and are designed for a maximum speed of less than 35 miles per hour.
