South Florida’s “best sunsets” on the horizon?

A new observation tower promising sweeping views of the Everglades too

Check out a rendering of a new lookout tower, planned for Coral Springs, that is promised to offer nature lovers with sweeping views of the Everglades and some amazing sunsets too!

City Commissioner Josh Simmons says, “The project will include a 10.2-mile path loop as part of the Everglades Lookout tower.”

It is envisioned to help get people to see the “best sunsets in Broward County,” said city spokeswoman Lynne Martzall.

It will be located near Sportsplex Drive, with Atlantic Boulevard to the south, Wiles Road to the north, Coral Ridge Drive to the east and a conservation green space to the west. The overall cost is forecasted to be $13.5 million.

It’s still it its initial phases, with no construction date yet, but sure looks cool!
