There’s a hotel right next to Easy 93.1 and they’re rebranding. They formerly were GLO by Best Western and now will be Best Western Plus. We watched with fascination yesterday as Chad with SLS (Southeastern Lighting Solutions) drove his truck in, sent up his crane, unscrewed the old sign off the upper reaches of the hotel, cleaned off the residue, and placed the old pieces of the sign on the grass below. Chad was amazing.

I know his name because after the show, I drove over to compliment his work and see what he was gonna do with the old sign. He said, “Take what you want! It’s trash!”

The giant L from G-L-O is now at my friend’s apartment. He’s thrilled: his last name is Lopez.

But watch the video to see Korby’s handiwork. She yelled through the giant chain link fence, got Chad’s attention and was rewarded with the O. Hand delivered. No need to drove over!
